About Jessica Loo
Energetic, enthusiasm and dynamic, these three words can be truly describing Jessica Loo - The Violinist from Penang, Malaysia.
Jessica Loo was firstly taking drum since she was 13 years old in her secondary school band. After graduated, she still very active involving in concerts under Penang State Symphonic Band (PESSBAND) and Universal Philharmonic orchestra (UPO) in Penang and was a principal timpanist in both since year 2001 - 2006. In year 2007, she decided to develop her musical knowledge and move to Kuala Lumpur. From there, she started to join the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre also known as KLPAC orchestra as her 1st destination. She was appointed as the principal timpanist from 2007 - 2010 and involved various concerts which is in house concerts and public performances.

Jessica Loo took violin as her second instrument in year 2002 when she met and influenced by the Malaysia well known violinist, and also conductor of KLPAC orchestra, late Mr. Brian Tan Wee Thean. Under his passionate teaching and guidance, Jessica finished all her graded exam within 4 years. And then she achieved her Associate Recital diploma examination (A.T.C.L.) under London Trinity College and certified with a Distinction in year 2011 and Licentiate Recital Diploma (L.T.C.L.) in 2017. After her greatly respected teacher late Mr. Brian Tan passed away in year 2011, she continues learning her violin with another well-known violinist from National Symphony Orchestra (NSO), Mr. Yip Siew Keen and also violinist from Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), Ms. Ling YunZi.

Jessica Loo started her career as a classical and pop violin performer in year 2006. All these years, she was invited to perform as a violin soloist in many various commercial events around Malaysia like Toyota Hybrid Serena car launched, NCT Awards ceremony, Oslee product launched, Sunlife Appreciation dinner, BMW showroom Launched 2015, BMW series car lauched, Golden Eagle Award ceremony launching 201, Guang Ming Jit Poh CNY Celebration, AMBANK Project closure dinner, Spring Run, Run For Peace, private parties, wedding dinner and more... Besides that, she hopes to create wider range of live music performance, then she formed the Elegante String Quartet which is classical playing style with various styles of repertoires included to pop, rock music alongside the traditional classical. Jessica also had been invited to involve in a Music Video shooting with our local artist, MintG for her 1st book and music album and audio recording in Dutch Lady Milk Commercial Advertisement. 

Aside from performing, Jessica Loo contributes her music passion to another scene as a school principal and music educator in Absolute Music Performing Art Centre and Absolute Music Studio that she set up in year 2009 which located at Ara Damansara, PJ and branch in Bukit Tinggi, Klang. Jessica manages to dedicate her skills, knowledge to conduct music lessons for the young children. She understands that practicing, performing and teaching none of it can be short of to help her success in the music scene.   

Jessica has been involved in many charitable performances too. She appreciated what she was today and believes that giving back to the society is one of the important tasks for her. She always involved herself to performed charity in the dinner of the NGO Awareness Campaigns, Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness, Dance For Fund Society Selangor and International Lions Club, Relay for life, 30 hours famine for many years.

Jessica would like to credits her success to her greatly respected teacher, late Mr. Brian Tan that influenced her on how to be a great musician and a great teacher by nurturing the new generation. Now she was doing exact the same things what Brian taught her. And one of her future plan, she is planning to organize her very own 1st music concert as a check point in her music journey.
